NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Feb 5, 2013 at 5:01 AM
Hi. I'm sure I'm missing something basic. Using asp.net (.Net 4) on IIS7. So I removed all references in the web.config file.

I have an upload control and a progress control on a page. All pages load correctly except the one using these controls. I stepped through the manual and I think I took care of everything. I uploaded the NeatUpload folder in the root and also I have the Brettle.Web.NeatUpload.dll in my bin folder. My stack trace is as follows:
[NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.]
Brettle.Web.NeatUpload.UploadModule.get_PostBackID() +37
Brettle.Web.NeatUpload.ProgressBar.get_LastPostBackIDQueryStringPortion() +41
Brettle.Web.NeatUpload.ProgressBar.OnPreRender(EventArgs e) +886
System.Web.UI.Control.PreRenderRecursiveInternal() +103
System.Web.UI.Control.PreRenderRecursiveInternal() +175
System.Web.UI.Control.PreRenderRecursiveInternal() +175
System.Web.UI.Control.PreRenderRecursiveInternal() +175
System.Web.UI.Control.PreRenderRecursiveInternal() +175
System.Web.UI.Control.PreRenderRecursiveInternal() +175
System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) +2496

Please help!!! :-)

Sorry... sorry... sorry! I misread another post on the discussion board and assumed I should remove all references to NeatUpload from the web.config file. That is now fixed and I am up and running.
